On August 31, 2008, I got to preach at my church, NewSong Church, in Cleveland, OH.
I spoke in a big picture way on Light and Darkness as seen in the New Testament, using that analogy to the fullest to explain the Kingdom of God.

I grew up in Lansing, MI, studied at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, and am currently the Young Adult Pastor at NewSong Church in the Cleveland area. Ever since I bowed my knee to Jesus, I have been on quite the ride. This site is just some thoughts and observations on my journey.

Listened to your sermon, and it was excellent. Dude God has really done some amazing things in your life and it’s so great to see you EXACTLY where God wants you! It’s crazy i just had a memory to my first experience with God speaking through me (word of prophecy) to you at Winter Wildness (or was it Imagine?) a few years back.. The vision God had given me then, is what you’re living right now. You were a pastor in front of youth and young adults.. speaking words of truth and wisdom in a way that people could relate to and enjoy listening to. I listened to your message and it gave me that kind of joy that you only get when you see the plans of heaven come to fruition. Congrats on where you are in life, and may God continue to use you in tremendous ways!!

Clay, Thanks for the encouragement. I do remember God using you to speak into my life at WW. What you said that night is exactly where God has me right now. Man, God is good! He has been true to his word and led me here. And I’m loving every second of it. It’s great hearing from you. I will remember to pray for you.
