I truly believe that the way God guides you is like a ladder. It’s a process. You are meant to step on every step, or you’re going to miss something. Some people don’t like the process. They find it cumbersome, undesirable, and even burdensome. It often is, but what I’ve found is that the things that are usually the hardest are the things that grow you the most.
My process has led me to Berkley, Michigan, where I am interning at Church of the King under Brad Leach. I’ve only been here a week yet God has taught me so much already. The reason that I made this blog was more than just because I wanted to share with everyone what I’ve learned. It’s more because I wanted a chance to regurgitate the insight I’ve been given. This blog is more for me.
Speaking of insight I’ve learned this week. If there is one major thing that I don’t want to forget it’s this:
Facing our fears is necessary to live out the dreams that God has placed in our hearts…
more to come on this in a later post
I grew up in Lansing, MI, studied at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, and am currently the Young Adult Pastor at NewSong Church in the Cleveland area. Ever since I bowed my knee to Jesus, I have been on quite the ride. This site is just some thoughts and observations on my journey.
